Congratulations Kristi! You made awesome time! What an experience it must have been!
I’m glad you are enjoying NY City! Central Park is fabulous. I never had the chance to run through it, but did walk. It’s an oasis in the midst of chaos. I think it’s how New Yorkers keep their sanity.
Kristi: Congrats..awesome time..obviously you ruled the hills!
Glad you enjoyed NYC and that continous flow of people walking through red lights.
Loved the list of things you learned..they were classic.
Looking forward to hear about the race and the trip from you and the kids.

As the husband of the Average Runner I want to say how proud I am of her today (more so than normal). After days of wandering the streets of New York with us she gets up early in the morning, runs a PB half marathon and then spends the next 8 hours wandering around more of New York. Congratulations!
And from her two sons – “we are really really really proud of you!”
Hola Kristi,
Way to go on your race. Sounds like you did everything right. Also sounds like you are enjoying New York. Central Park is like a world unto itself. Can’t wait to hear the stories. See you in a week

Thanks Cathy! Running the Terry Fox extension was great training for the hills!
