I ran a solid 30k. By around 36k I knew I wasn&#8217;t quite going to make the 4:30 so I opted to relax and enjoy the ride. I discovered that I don&#8217;t hate marathons. Don&#8217;t love them either but I don&#8217;t hate them. And I think I would be willing to do this race again to see if I could take a few minutes off my time. Best part, I did not feel like I was dying as I ran the last 2k and I felt good walking through the finishers chute.
